Military Prints           

    We have a selection of military prints related to the history of the frontier army and the Leavenworth area.  The prices listed here are for unframed prints.  Prints can be framed for an additional cost-- please contact the Gift and Book Shop for information.  See the bottom of this page for examples.

    Shipping and handling is not included in the price.  We recommend shipping the artwork flat to conserve its value, but will ship it rolled in a mailing tube if desired.  Please call for current shipping cost.

"IT'S UP TO US NOW"

On 24 June 1898 American soldiers assaulted a fortified Spanish Army position at Las Guasimas, Cuba. LTC Teddy Roosevelt and the 1st Volunteer Cavalry Regiment ("Rough Riders") led the charge but were halted by heavy enemy fire. Arriving on the scene, the 10th Cavalry Regiment (Buffalo Soldiers) in timely support of the attack, thus propelling the U.S. forces into their first victory of the Spanish-American War.
