The Frontier Army Living History Association provides living history programs for the Fort Leavenworth Community and throughout the Midwest. These men and women preserve military history by portraying army life of the 1840's from the soldiers perspective. The group has Dragoons, Infantry, and Laundresses.     The Frontier Army Living History Association's major fund raising event is the "Spring Maneuvers" wargame convention, held at the Frontier Conference Center on Fort Leavenworth.  It has become a well respected convention in the mid-west, and the dates for this years convention are 22-23 February 2008.

Upcoming events:   

    19 April 2008: Ft Leavenworth Historic Homes Tour & Frontier Army Encampment -tour several of Fort Leavenworth's historic homes and a living history re-enactment. Homes Tour, 10:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M., Grant Ave and Kearney Streets, admission charged (tickets available in advance at the Museum Gift and Book Shop) Encampment is FREE.  913-684-3194 for more information.
